Mountain Trail Horse Center

Bring your own horse

We are now offering a trail ride option for those who want to travel with their own horse and ride with our experienced guides.

We offer many conveniences such as an onsite motel available with an excellent restaurant.  We are located on Route 6 with very short distances from great panoramic views and access to large expanse of open land.

All rides from our location must be guided.  We must control the impact on our trails and avoid conflicts with our other patrons to maintain our cooperative relationship with our state forest officials and surrounding private landowners.

Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable about area and can get you to the best our area has to offer.  They are able to gauge your abilities and desires and are knowledgeable of the area’s natural world and heritage history.

A day trip from camp can include many trail options, we have hundreds of thousands of acres to ride in. We can offer four different trail areas to explore.  Once we are away from the immediate area can also take short trailer trips to endless options.
