Trail Rides

All trail rides require deposits and reservations - we cannot accept walk-ins. Please call 877-376-5561 to book. You will receive a confirmation letter that will include directions to the location you'll be riding from as well as your start time.

From the last weekend in May until Mid-November we ride from our Ansonia location. From Wellsboro, take Rt. 6 west approximately 12 miles to Ansonia. Look for our blue/green metal barn on the right with our sign out front that says Canyon Wagon Rides and a picture of a horse and wagon. Turn in at the wagon barn and follow the lane, past this barn, through the gate, to the big wooden barn above and to the left.

From Mid-November to the last week in May we ride from our farm in Middlebury Center. From Wellsboro, take Route 287 North, about six miles, (Niles Valley). Look for a small white church on the left, and then take the next right onto Catlin Hollow Road. (Before small plaza with Citgo station.) Go about 200 yards, across RR tracks, and the drive is on the left. As you enter the driveway the arena barn is to your left.

Wagon Rides

Regular wagon rides accept walk-ins, though reservations are recommend to confirm available seating. Our cookout wagons require advance reservation.

Cottage

The Mountain Trail Cottage is located on our horse and elk farm in Middlebury Center. From Wellsboro, take Rt. 287 North, about 6 1/2 miles, (Niles Valley). Look for a small white church on the left, and then take the next road to the right. (Before small plaza with Citgo station.) Go about 200 yards, across the RR tracks, and take the first driveway on the left. Follow drive across the small bridge, past the red barn, and continue up the lane until you get to the end where the cottage is located. You will pass our office behind the tan house on the knoll on your left; stop at your convenience if you have any questions or problems.
